Fresh, Bold Conservative Ideas
Meet Mike Fricilone, the Candidate Taking a Stand Against Neo-Nazism
Our Republican Party is at a crossroads here in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District. In 2018, our party was humiliated that only a former member of the American Nazi Party filed as a Republican for Congress. This bigot, Arthur Jones, is not a Republican, he is a Nazi. He is filled with hate and denies the existence of the Holocaust. He does not represent our Republican Party, yet he’s filed once again to represent us in 2020, and the only other candidate to file was a lifelong Democrat.
That is why I’m running in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District GOP Primary in 2020. We need a nominee who can show the public what real Republican values are. We must show the voters there is a real Republican choice, and that I am that candidate.
Republicans, we must draw a line in the sand about what our values are. We stand for a brighter future for our children and grandchildren, economic security, and a safer world here and abroad. There is no room for fake Republicans in our party and there is no room for Nazis or hate of any kind.
I have an extensive public record as an elected official who has brought forward bold, fresh ideas to move our party forward. As a Member of the Will County Board since 2012, I’ve run up a record of conservative accomplishments. During my tenure as Finance Chairman, we reduced tax rates 4 years in a row. We found waste in government and we cut it. We also reduced overtime in various county departments, saving taxpayers millions of dollars annually. I currently serve as the Will County Republican Leader on the County Board.
While I worked to keep Will County fiscally conservative, I oversaw the “Building Will County Financial Plan” to move our county forward. The plan included a new Public Safety Facility, a new 911 Center, a new County Court House and a new county health center. We accomplished all this without a tax increase.
I understand our community because I have been part of it for over 60 years. I grew up in the Garfield Ridge community in the city and am a proud graduate of JFK High School. After high school I was very fortunate to receive scholarship money for academics and attended Knox College in Central Illinois. After college I married my high school sweetheart and we started a family that cherishes being part of our community.
I’ve been an active sports coach in our community, a 30-year member of St Bernard’s Parish, President and a charter member of the Lockport High School Charitable Foundation, and have spent the last 6 years on the board of directors of the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center. Of course, this is in addition to my career in business for the last 30 years which has been in office furnishings.
Now I want to represent our community in Congress. I want to take my approach of bold, fresh conservative ideas to the people’s house in Washington. At the same time, we can make a statement to the nation that Nazis have no home in our party. Please pull a Republican ballot in the March 17th Primary Election and vote for me for United States Congress.
